Astrology, as a science, includes various directions – Medical Astrology, Choral, Elective, Mundane, Synastry, as well as Natal, i.e. it covers not only an individual and his sphere of life, but also the life of an entire country. Astrology can be not only a healer, a harmonizer of human destinies, but also a predictor. It works with the smallest as well as the global, from the microcosm to the macrocosm.

Let’s try to understand the smallest, but perhaps the most important part of all, which is how astrology describes a person, showing us how planets influence a person’s destiny. The position of the planets and how they relate to each other at the time of birth is studied in natal astrology. If we project the energies of the planets at the moment of human birth onto a sheet of paper, we get a natal chart. The natal chart is a certain program of a person in this incarnation. So what does this chart give us, you might ask? By understanding his natal chart, a person will know not only his strengths and weaknesses, his psychological and physical aspects, but also where his potential lies. By understanding this minimum, a person can already direct his consciousness in the right direction, making his life brighter, more productive, more meaningful.

Let’s try to understand the natal chart. It consists of planets, fixed points, zodiac signs and houses. What do the planets mean in our chart, because each planet is responsible for a certain area of life, has its own nature and carries us a certain energy. Sun, I am the creator, Moon shows how the world is emotionally charged around us, Mother, security, Mercury our intellect, Venus, how I love, desire in this world, Mars, how I act. We briefly reviewed the nature of the personal planets, which affect specifically the person himself, but there are the social planets – Jupiter, which determines a person’s place in society, his system of values, and Saturn, the planet of rules and restrictions, shows us how safe the world is around us. Besides personal and social planets there are also higher planets, these are very slow planets, so they influence the entire generations, passing from one sign to another they color that sign with their energy and charge the entire generations with it. Consider Uranus as the highest planet under whose energies we now live, entering the Age of Aquarius. It is the planet of the future, of everything new, it is the planet of revolution, destruction, abrupt change. Also among the higher planets is Neptune, the planet of illusion and spiritual development. Pluto, transforming everything in its path. Chiron as teacher, harmonizer, knowledge. We have considered the nature of the planets, but it is very important where they are and whether they are harmoniously or non-harmoniously interconnected. Aspects show us this relationship in the natal chart. Aspects are angular correlations between the planets, and they show how the planets are related, what energy they are either constructive or destructive, harmonious or distorted, and by understanding this we will be able to understand how the planets influence a person. The point at which a planet stands is our definite task, which we need to understand and realize. Except the planets, the natal chart includes the signs of the zodiac, which are the 12 constellations located along the ecliptic (the path the sun takes in one year in relation to the earth), and I think every child is familiar with the signs of the zodiac. Being born on a particular day, the Sun puts us in a particular sign of the zodiac which gives us a certain potential, and how it will manifest in what areas of human life will be shown at home. Houses are another component of the natal chart, which is an event series. There are 12 houses, or spheres, where a person can manifest or fulfill his/her potential. Also very important in astrology are the Lunar Nodes of Ketu and Rahu, which are dummy points on the ecliptic in exact opposition to one another. Ketu shows us what we have come with, what experience we have accumulated. Rahu – what we need to go to, what our task is in this incarnation. These points are considered to be karmic accumulation and spiritual path of a person, we kind of swim from the known understandable, to the intangible and undefined, which makes our task difficult, because these energies are unfamiliar to us and we need to work on them in this life.

By looking at the basic basics of the natal chart, even without being an astrologer, we understand the tool it gives us. It helps to better and deeper understand ourselves, to deal with the problems that periodically come upon us for some reason, to deal with relationships, both in family and in social society, to understand why things do not work out, helps to understand the life lessons that one needs as a developmental experience. Astrology as a tool helps a person understand and comprehend this world.
